Rehabilitation

Democrats and Republicans agree that to some degree the criminal justice system is broken. Probably the most disheartening broken piece of the system is the rate of recidivism. Too many criminals get out of jail simply to commit another crime and end up back behind bars. While rehabilitation isn't for everyone, local and state governments, partnering with faith institutions, should work to figure out programs that help criminals become acclimated back into society.
